Late New Year´s Knitting Resolutions

1. Knit a big lace shawl.
At least one. The first one shall be the beautiful Swallowtail Shawl. I have already bought a lilac alpaca yarn for this purpose.

2. Knit a Fair Isle sweater.
And before that: Learn to knit Fair Isle.

3. Knit a pair of socks.

4. Knit 5 kilometers of yarn.
I found the Knitmeter last week and I´m going to monitor my yarn consumption. It will be interesting.

5. Buy A History of Hand Knitting
And actually read it.

6. Knit something for Charity.
I never do it. But I should.

I´d write something like "buy yarn for a purpose" or "use up the stash" but I´m trying to be serious there.
