DNA hats

I almost forgot to mention the hats for my geeky friends.

I used the DNA Scarf pattern to make this one. I repeated the pattern several times and then sewed the first and the last row together, picked up stitches by the side and finished it somehow. The yarn is some wool-alpaca blend.



The second one is slightly modified Chromosome Cap. The funny thing was that the friend I gave it to (he´s into telomeres and stuff like that) didn´t see the chromosomes on it. Or it didn´t occur to him that it´s chromosomes. Too vague for him I guess...
